Curriculum

The College follows the syllabi of the Eastern Cape Education Department. The subject selection has been chosen to accommodate a wide variety of options. We endeavour to enrich these syllabi to the benefit of our pupils.

   2. Mathematical Literacy, Mathematics and Mathematical Science (MLMMS)
   3. Human and Social Science and Economics and Management Sciences (HSS / EMS)
   4. Natural Sciences and Technology (NS / TECH)
   5. Arts and Culture and Life Orientation (A & C / LO)

   Grade 7, 8 and 9 - Senior Phase

2. National Senior Certificate (NSC)
   This course is offered in Grade 10, 11 and 12.
   Boys are required to choose ONE subject from each of:
   Option 1 - English Primary Language (compulsory)
   Option 2 - Afrikaans First Additional (compulsory)
   Option 3 - Life Orientation (compulsory)
   Option 4 - Mathematics OR Mathematics Literacy
   Option 5 - Physical Science OR Business Studies OR Life Sciences
   Option 6 - History OR Life Sciences
   Option 7 - Accounting OR Geography
   Music, Art Design OR Visual Art may be taken as an alternative subject in Options 6 OR 7.

   Physical Education is included in the Life Orientation programme.
